When I was visiting some blogger's blog that joined my BlogCatalog neighborhood, I came across a pretty cool "Make Money Online" blog. One in particular that I remember is what this post would be about is "GATHER SUCCESS" and blog with a goal to make $1,000,000. If you saw the success of John Chow's blog, "John Chow dot Com" than you're probably going to want to download that free Wordpress template called the Atomic Blogging Theme from "GATHER SUCESS". The template is very similar to John Chow's blog. He's gotta be doing something right being able to make an average of $30,000 per month.

I would definitely use that free Wordpress template and modify it to fit my taste. For those who are new or been around the Internet thinking of making money online I definitely recommend installing that Wordpress template for your Wordpress blog.

Make Money Online Blogger Template is Live Now, Compare!

The new blog looks is in and the old is out. Here is a comparison between the two. The template still isn't 100% complete yet, but I couldn't wait to put it to use.

I asked a bunch of people and all of them say the new looks a whole lot better. I'm planning to monetize the ad zones with advertisers banner eventually. I'm still brainstorming advertising plans for this blog. I been around for over a year now. I must say, I started as a newbie that did not know anything about making money. I strive to make money without spending any money that is not even paying for hosting, which gives me the content management system of Wordpress. My plan is once I break the $1000 per month mark, I'll move to Wordpress.

Preview of the New John Chow Similar Template on BlogSpot

Well I'm not going to post much for this posts. Below is a preview of how the new blog might look like. I spent more than 6 hours doing HTML coding and modifying the original template to come up with this look. I'm currently looking at some OpenAds to help me with the advertising on this blog.

Add a Popular Post List

It is a very good idea to have a popular post list because the once popular post that got the reader's attention helped you gain traffic, but once it got off the front page it is basically gone forever unless someone accidentally find it in a search engine. According to Kumiko Suzuki's post "Keeping Popular Post Popular" is a great idea. Every time new visitors come to your blog, they can see your most popular post and it just might get the new visitors hooked. So using your old popular post can also be a way to keep new readers interested and also most important of all help you make more money.

The thing is a lot of people cannot have new things to talk about every day like me. The purpose of this blog is to help people and me make some money. It is difficult to have good advice for people every single day, but you can keep your old useful post linked from your main page, it would be easy for new visitors to find it. That way you recycle your old post over and over again when new visitors arrived. Kumiko did not mention this, but in addition to her post, your loyal readers will barely look at your sidebar because the fact that they been at your blog before, they do not need to click the "About Me" link or your links to other people's money making blogs. So the thing is you need to get your new visitors hooked so they come back to your blog to read more possible popular future post by having a popular post list on the side. I want to thank Kumiko for doing that post because it really gave me an insight on how to make my blog even better. She is also doing an awesome job with her blog.

Should I Upgrade My Blog Template?

I been looking at Blogger(beta) templates for a few days and studying how it works. I must admitted it was confusing. I really want to change the template of my blog to a three column and yet look very simple and easy to look at. I was recently refer to BlogCrowds, a forum where bloggers can learn and acquire Blogger(beta) templates. If you plan on changing your template and modifying it, be prepare to spend endless hours studying how it works and also how you can modify it to fit your needs. I'm starting to understand it a little. It would be a very good investment of your time to learn something new and also possibly increase the chances of making more money. After all this is a blog created, just for the purpose of making money. I found a lot of blog templates by searching in Google, but I did not find any that was right for me. Anyone planning to modify the appearance of their blog, be sure to start out at BlogCrowds for help. The thing is you need to be a member to get those templates, so just sign up because its free. Before we reach April 2007, the new look might happen.

It is amazing how the internet has virtually infinite amount of information.

How does my blog look? Great? Good? Average? Poor? Bad?

I also need to learn how to do polls. Which is a very good technique for feedback because doing comments kind of takes too much work.
