Time For My Quest to Increase Website Traffic

I been stuck at about 90 hits per day and 45 unique visitors per day and about 6 returning visitors per day. Its been like that for a few months. Now it's time for researching on how to increase traffic without spending money.

There are a lot of information out there on how to increase traffic utilizing social networks and viral stuffs. Well I don't know if it'll work until I try it. Recently someone sent me an email on the "Secrets of Blogging" that supposely increase your traffic like 5 times more if I remember correctly. I haven't had time to look at it yet, but I'll start today with this post. If I could get 5 times more traffic, which is like 450 hits per day and 225 unique visitors per day and maybe 30 returning visitors per day.

With that many traffic, my Alexa score will probably reach 100,000 or less. If anyone knows the approximate alexa score don't hesitate to correct me.

What Can You Do With Traffic?
If I can increase the traffic higher, advertiser would be more likely to spend money since they sell you have lots of traffic to my website. If you constantly get 225 unique visitors per day, the number of subscribers will definitely increase because if you expose your website to more people, the higher the chance that someone will like your website. With more subscribers, you can sell reviews to advertisers. If you have any sort of paid per click ads like Google Adsense, you'll also get more click throughs thus making more money. If you have any affiliate links you'll convert traffic to sales more frequently.

I will still be posting "Make $1 Per Day Reports" <--Interesting filler posts to look at. I'm trying to figure out a way so that I can constantly have something to post. I haven't posted for a few days and already traffic has dropped. To be successful in blogging you have to blog everyday. OK let the quest for increasing traffic to 500 hits per day begin. I will not cheat for traffic like autosurf or whatever thats useless. Even though paying for advertising works for sure, I don't want to spend money. What You Will Expect in On Coming Post
I will do post periodically on what I did to try to increase traffic and also post how it worked or how it failed miserably. Stay tuned or subscribe so you don't have to check my blog everyday since I don't post every day at the moment.

Alexa Internet, is a California-based subsidiary company of Amazon.com that is best known for operating a website that provides information on the web traffic to other websites.
Alexa collects information from users who have installed an “Alexa Toolbar,” allowing them to provide statistics on web site traffic, as well as lists of related links. It uses these data to form Alexa ranking. There is some controversy over how representative Alexa’s user base is of typical Internet behavior. If Alexa’s user base is a fair statistical sample of the internet user population, Alexa’s ranking should be quite accurate. A known source of bias is the self-selecting, opt-in nature of Alexa traffic tracking software installation, but the significance of this bias on rankings is not reported. Alexa ranking measures traffic ranking collected from Alexa toolbar users. High alexa ranking has no relationship with high google ranking, yahoo ranking, and etc.
Ranking in Alexa is significant as it can significantly increase your bargaining power when it comes to selling advertising on your site. If advertisers see that your site has a higher ranking, they are likely to think that they can sell more of their products and services by having a link on your site. This means that you can charge them higher fees for that link.
