Information On August 2007 PageRank Update

If there are people wondering why they have not got a PageRank for their website its because there are so many links leading to your website and calculating the accurate PageRank for your blog will require some time. PageRanks are being updating even as I do this post.

My picture blog, Knighty Night's Database of Wallpaper got ranked about two weeks ago. It went from N/A to PR 1. I did not do any link exchange with that blog. It was just for me to collect and share desktop wallpapers.

My friend's blog Web-based Browser Games created his blog about three months ago, he had a NA for PageRank a few weeks ago. Now its a PageRank 0 now. So people are getting new PageRanks for one or two weeks now.

If your heart is beating faster than usual waiting for that PageRank update if you have not gotten it yet, it should be higher than a PR 1. At the moment, I'm assuming that all the websites that will get a low PageRank will have already gotten a PageRank for their website.

From my observation, I think that longer it takes to update your PageRank the higher it will be. What do you guys think?
