PTP and Some other Definitions

PTR stands for Get Paid to Read where users sign up to receive email advertisements. When reading the emails, there is a specific paid link inside the email, which opens the advertiser's website from 10 to 60 seconds. When these kind of company first come to light, they were doing pretty good job making money and also paying members, but due to a lot of people getting into this business it caused the market to become saturated.

PTC stands for Get Paid to Click basically the same as PTR, but the user simply clicks on paid web banners or textual advertisements on the website itself. Since PTC is not able to reach the audience like PTR can the earnings from PTC is less than PTR.

PTP stands for Get Paid to Promote. It is when the website you joined provide a special URL for the users to promote. When ever a unique IP goes to the users unique URL, they are awarded a certain amount of credits. After earning enough credits usually 1000 credits, the user can redeem them for money. PTP are often promoted using PTC advertisements, or PTS emails.

PTS stands for Get Paid to Surf. This is pretty much self explained. The user access a website that rotates every interval amount of time. Users are paid extremely low amounts that is a fraction of penny per website it rotates. This is usually called junk traffic because the user does not necessarily have to be on the computer so the website that people are promoting in there does not get seen most of the time.
